Smile moving to Durango/Mancos area!!

Hi there! once we finally sell our house in Pa. We are moving to Durango/Mancos/Bayfield area. Looking for ANY info that would be helpful, like areas to stay away from, or subdivisions that are worthwhile. Thanks!!

We will be there late next week or early the week after... if I find out anything I will let you know. I am looking into Mancos/Durango but will be also stopping in Flagstaff first. We are so excited to see Durango though, to bad we cant afford a place right in the middle of it. Have you looked into schools? We need a small private school for my teen.

area15co is on a distinguished road
Mancos is a very small conservative ranching town. VERY quiet. About 1500 pop. Durango is super! Bayfield is booming! Ready for new occupants! Nice new hospital between Bayfield and Durango, too.
