Maybe Katiana has some current info on the UW program. Having lived in Wyoming, I'm a little prejudiced in favor of UW and it is closer to a lot of nice Colorado (and Wyoming) country than a lot of the Front Range cities. No one will ever confuse Laramie with a thriving metropolis, though (Thank God for that!).
LOL! Thanks, jazz. I have worked in nursing for ~35 yrs, so I guess I do know it pretty well. U of Wyoming is a choice of a lot of Colorado students who want a good nursing school but don't want to go to CU. I don't know a lot about it. I work with a UW graduate, and I'd call her a good nurse, but that is more up to the individual than the school.

I grew up in Toledo, Ohio moved to Pueblo, Colorado in my early 20's. I have been here for 13 years. I LOVE it here, I wouldn't move back to Ohio if someone held a gun to my head. I would suggest looking into the university in Pueblo, everything is much cheaper in Pueblo then Springs and Denver. It is also drivable to work in Springs for more money. Alot of people commute.

Default move there first

My suggestion is to move there first and become a resident. Read the rules carefully on what Colorado considers a true resident. Two of my kids did this. One has really liked it and the other gave up college for just working. Whatever.
