Rifle,Co (house, neighborhood, school)

Hi,
My family just moved to Rifle. We have a 15 yr. old daughter who is very shy but really would like to make some friends. She is usually quite active over the summer but now just sits in the house because she doesn't know anyone. I am hoping someone will read this who lives in Riffle, maybe even has teens and can give me some suggestions. I really hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance.

There is a pool. Have her take a swiming class. Do you attend church? Good place to meet others. When school starts she will have a chance to meet others. Have her join some clubs etc. In the mean time ,if you have time, go for walks and if you see others in your neighborhood just stop and say hi, getting to know other parents with kids always helped us.

Thanks for the reply, I have been going for walks and trying to get her to
with me, I have met people that way. Good idea about the pool, it's right down the hill from us.
