NJ to CO: I-70 or I-80?

I love eastern Kansas along Hwy 50. It's kind of like, ummm, Missouri!

Eastern Kansas has alot of hills and green scenery. It's the Western half of KS that's usually brown and flat. Next time go visit the college town of Lawrence right off of I-70. They're campus is much prettier than CU's in my opinion.

Agree.....

Many time I have driven between Colorado and Indiana, I usually like to stop in Lawrence. I would like to do one of these days is spend a couple of days in Lawrence especially if it is during the school year, go hang around different parts of the campus, the downtown area on Mass Ave and the state park nearby.

I have one regret about the place. About twenty years ago when I was in college in Southern IN, I had an opportunity to go there with one of the people I knew at the time for Fall break in October. Unfortunately, my parents wanted me to come home in Indianpolis. So that got shot. I think I would have enjoyed it a lot at the time as well.
