I'm looking for information about a cabin in La Garita? (Monte Vista: living, store)

I'm looking for a cabin that was in the mountains outside of monte vista?
there was also a store as you drove up the road to the cabin.

you went from monte vista north to la garita then up in the mountains there was a gold mine before you got to the cabin. I'd like to know if the cabin is still there?

We went from Monte Vista north to La Garita then up in the mountains there is a working gold mine before you got to the cabin. I can't post pictures of the cabin but I can describe it.
The cabin is 2 story with open living room, kitchen & dining room, also had 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus 2 balconys. When you face the front of the cabin on your right side of the cabin there is a group of trees.

Did you ever get your answer in reference to the cabin near the mine? Have a bit of info....

No I never did get any answers about the cabin near the mine but I did rember something that I forgot to mention that the last time that we stayed there,the owner had just sold it to a group of doctors from Texas.
