I know every day life is the same where ever you live, but I was wondering how the parker area shaped you day? Is traffic real bad? is the winter snow and ice and worse than other Metro locations? Are the people rude? I have done alot of research and the area is very nice, the schools are very good and the cost of a nice home is ok. As some one who does not live there is there something from the outside that I can't see? Any help would be a help.

There are a lot of posts and threads on Parker - you could check those out...

I don't think the weather is any worse in Parker than it is in much of the Denver metro. If you head south towards the Palmer Divide, the orthographics seems to contribute to harsher winds and snow...I think....

There's a nice park with a neat inexpensive mini waterpark called H2OBriens off Mainstreet street. I think there is a lot of horse property there too.

It seems people who like Parker also checked out Castle Rock, Lone Tree and maybe Highlands Ranch. Seems like similar demographics.
