Our Grand Junction streets got very wet last night, and so did our basement floor ( not exactly flooded, but wet enough to require some squeege work ). That was a powerful storm. Wind, hail, heavy rain, flooded streets, power outages, downed trees...there was one gust of wind that must have been close to hurricane force. It reminded me of the frequent heavy downpours in Virginia Beach that would flood the street in front of our house in less than half an hour. Fortunately our house there was situated on a 3ft rise above stree level so we never got water in the house. No basements in Virginia Beach, so water in the basement was never an issue.

We didn't get as much rain as Denver did, but there's hope for Boulder Co. tonight.
