Hello,

My husband and I will move to CO shortly. Unfortunately, he will work in downtown Boulder and I will be in Greenwood Village. We are trying to figure out where we should rent the apartment so we both can handle the commute.

I have been doing research on City-Data for a while and the more info. I have, the more confused I become. I'd love to hear what locals recommend and any advice is greatly appreciated.

We are looking for:
(1) Safe neiborghood (the town we currently live has 1 sex offender and 0 murder and very very low crime rate)
(2) Within 50 min. commute to Boulder and Greenwood Village.
(3) Friendly towards foreigners.
(4) Btw, what do you guys think about Links at Legacy Ridge? Is that a good rental community?

Thanks a lot!!

This is true, but. . . My DH worked in Golden for years, took Indiana St. north to Louisville. Your DH could take that route to Boulder as well. It's probably a few miles farther to Boulder that way; depends on where you live in Golden.

35-45 minutes (he now works in Boulder). There were very few bad snow days.
