I let my dog sleep on my bed on occasion. He's inside most of the time and is my boy...aka my child.
I don't know why this would be wrong, he knows his status as dog in my little pack. I am top dog, my cat is second in the pack and my dog is the low man on the totem pole. Simple and easy....

Today the poor dog was found hung by his collar off of the back porch. Animal control says they can't do anything about it since there were no previous calls of cruelty. So, I feel pretty guilty that this poor dog is dead and maybe I could have prevented it had I called twice before like I wanted to. My family said don't make a stink, let's not make war with the neighbors. But, moral of the story is, next time I'm calling and you should too. You see animal abuse and neglect don't hesitate to call it in.

I had neighbors like that once. It makes me hope there really, really is a hell.

We'll have to talk off line about Uncle Guido, he might get along well with my Uncle Pauly. As far as the dogs are concerned, I lived in Germany for 9 years and had had Rottweilers for the past 30 years. Rotties are right up there with Shephards in that type of training.

Your "redneck neighbors", huh?
Since I've been called a "redneck" many times, and would never dream of hurting/mistreating a dog, please explain what you mean by "redneck."
You are obviously trying to make the connection between redneck and animal cruelty, otherwise you would have just referred to them as "neighbors."
Think.

What classifies them as rednecks you ask? How about the fact that they have Arkansas plates for one, or how about the bed sheet they use in place of a curtain or a shade? Those things classify em as rednecks in my book. They're rednecks and I'm a DINK Mass-hole, it is what it is.
