120 miles per hour

120 MPH! Average! With stop lights and curves acceleration, deceleration and stuff, you'd have to have an instantaneous speed of about 182 MPH... just a guess of mine.

May I suggest a vehicle for you?

or maybe

*Note* I don't condone this type of driving and only wish people would drive more carefully.
Maybe I am wrong I will time it the next time I go there, maybe it just seems that fast.....

Well, thanks you two. I got my belly laugh out of this one today! My new year's resolution is to do less and laugh more. Thanks. P.S. I like the second car, please--you can send one on over!

Oh, please do! You know your Galileo near the old Minnequa Bank is closed up. They must have moved and are going for location location location! So I still haven't tried the place because I feared the folks closed shop and headed back to the Old Country.

The last time I tried to order from the place, I noticed it was closed down, so I went over to the Pasta Cottage and they didn't disappoint.

Esya, that's a non-clone Cobra with the 427 cid engine and would cost about a cool 220 ger +. And that's if the owner felt like selling it. People who own stuff like that don't need money and they don't even need the car. They just buy it to keep other people from having it. Must be nice.

I like your New Year's Resolution, btw. But I'd take it a step further; Hard work is overrated. So work less and make more. That's been my current goal and I'm achieving part of it!

Speaking of Italian places... there's this place on the southwest corner Jerry Murphy and 47. It's in that little L-shaped stripmall adjacent to 47. It's not too shabby either.

OMG, I left Pueblo in 1956 after graduating from Centennial, viisting a couple of times in between. I have just relocated to Florida, and was surfing the City Data site. I thought it would be interesting to see what now was in Pueblo. Wow, some of the places are just like they were when I was there! I know Gus's and the Dutch Lunch and the beer,Patti"s and the Pass Key. I was going to buy a car like that, but could not AFFORD THE $2,500.00 PRICE at the time!!
I want everyone who reads this to know , I just celibrated my 29th birthday! Take Care Mr.C

Another helpful thread, thanks.

I think I live in the Italian Restaurant Capital of the US. I usually cook my own, but it's good to know there is some of my traditional cuisine available in the west, if I decide to move.

Default Merlino's Belvedere Canon City

McGowdog: Thanks for the info and, no I don't have that kind of money!

But I ate at Merlino's Belvedere (again) in Canon City tonight, about 35 miles west of Pueblo. I could start a war, but I have to say, whatever else about that place they have the BEST homemade pasta of anywhere I mentioned before. I never miss eating there if I'm in Canon City.

I've eaten there once and the one time we went the service was awful and the steak was tough like shoe leather.

You ought to save you pennies and go to Le Petite Chablis. Now that place is worth the trip to Canon City.

I went to Galileo today for lunch, it was the same restaurant that was located by the old Minnequa Bank. I HIGHLY recommend it, great food and great atmosphere.
