Could anyone describe what's the traffic condition on I-25, east and west?
Hello,
I will relocate shortly and want to get an idea what's the traffic like on I-25 during rush hour, sports games and snow days. 10 mph, 20 mph, 30mph..... Could anyone also point out some major congestion areas on the freeway? Also, which one is worse during rush hour: going to DTC or going to boulder? Thx!

Well, its a north/south freeway to start with. I don't use it, but it always looks congested between downtown and the DTC in both directions on the traffic reports.

Dude, you already posted your question on the Denver forum, exactly where it belongs. No need to double post it here. We've got a tightly run shop here.

Well, it is a commute involved boulder, denver and DTC. I will work in DTC, my husband work in Boulder and we need to find a place to live... so you see, I really don't know where the post should belong to

I think the post is fine, it'll reach others outside of Denver.

No worries. It's sounds like a real mess though... the only thing I can think of that's about equidistant to the two is downtown Denver. From downtown you might be able to take a commuter shuttle bus to Boulder and the light rail DTC, depending on how close your offices are to the stations.

I live off of I25 and the 20th Street exit....and I would totally recommend living in that area or LoDo for you guys. It only takes about 25 minutes to get to Boulder and the DTC from here. I worked in Castle Rock last year, and leaving my house at 6.30 am I was there by 7.00, 7.05 and the DTC is 10 to 15 minutes closer. Going home, I would probably add 10 minutes from the DTC

use Google Traffic
Go to Google maps, put in "Denver" as your search criteria. Click on "Traffic" in the Tabs on the top in the map. Click" change" from Live traffic to see how the traffic looks at different times of the day, week, month and year.
I love this tool
