Cool Moving to the area

I am relocating from New Mexico to the Englewood area the beginning to start a new job. I am not real familiar with the area and would appreciate any guidance on what area to consider and what areas whould be avoided. I am going to be working in the Inverness Tech area off Dry Creek and would like to find something reasonably priced and close to work. I would like to rent until I get a feel for the place, and then will probably try and buy a place. I am a professional, single, and fifty, so I'd really like to steer clear of places replete with pets and crying children. (No offense intended, I have raised three kids and love 'em to pieces. Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Consider: a 401k, your breath and making sure your fly is zipped up.
Avoid: Roadkill, Blowfish and man-bras -- and not searching before posting.

There are sticky threads at the top of most forums which will address your most general questions.
