There is something special about getting up early on election day and going to the polling place and voting on election day. The lines might be long and the tensions high, but that is the best way to do it.

I agree and I was really conflicted about the mail-in approach. But the prospect of arriving at my polling place at 6:30 PM or later, then having to stand in line till G** knows when to actually vote b/c of the long Colorado ballot made me decide to go the mail route.

This is how I felt as well. I was somewhat conflicted because I do agree that there is something exciting about voting on election day. One of my primary concerns was that if I waited until election day, I would possibly not get to vote at all: does anyone remember back in 2006, Douglas County had problems with their voting machines? Thousands of voters waited in line for hours and many were unable to cast their vote before the polls closed. I felt really bad for those people! I really hope they got the problems fixed, but I decided to be on the safe side and vote early just in case!

I dropped off my mail in ballot this week. I'm working the polls for election day. I've done it before and it's a really long day.

We just voted early this morning in Adams County. Be careful and call ahead. The first polling place we went to was not for early voting, even though Adams County and Obama's site said so. We ended up driving pretty far and then waiting in a line to vote. Just make sure you are going to the right place. But we are done, yay for voting!!!!!!!

I did a mail-in ballot and I loved it! Vote at my leisure and just drop it in the mail. That was wonderful!
