Do you plan on voting early this year, either by mail-in ballot or at an early polling location? Due to the length of the ballot this year, state officials are expecting long lines on election day.

I cast my vote at an early polling location last night. It was great: no lines, and no pressure from people waiting behind me. I decided to skip out on the election day lines this year since they are expecting such a large voter turnout.

Get out and vote, everyone! Google your local county's web site for early voting locations, and mail in ballot information.

I'll do the mail-in ballot, which arrived yesterday, but I'm not quite ready yet. I still need a time to research a couple of local initiatives.

I voted Monday after work. Was glad to get it over with. I continue to read about "the other candidate", and am still happy with my decision.
I have voted for a long time (there were curtains and metal levers back in tha' day, lol) and I can say I have NEVER seen such a heated race to the White House.
What gets me, idiots abound who are so uninformed about the issues of each party. Too bad they vote. There should be a litmus test or something for prequalification. LOL
Just my .02 cents.

I was concerned I'd have to work on election day, get off at 6 PM, and have to wait in line a couple hours b/c of the long ballot. So I applied for a mail-in.
