Default Survivorman

Could anyone identify where Les Stroud was in Colorado during his week here by looking at the show? He survived for a week in the Colorado Rockies with two horses with the premise of going out for an overnight and getting lost. I couldn't put my finger on where he was during the episode, I was thinking maybe on the western slope more northward. Could anybody recognize that area?

Like someone else said it may have been the Frisco/Granby/Winter Park area. I wish he would have said where it was.
