IF memory serves me....5555 north Wadsworth, or 7555. It was on the Wadsworth bypass(just a big curve that went around old Arvada downtown.)
I worked there in 73-74. Don't know what happened to the dealership. Good people, old man Craig was still alive and came around about once a week. The dealership was run by 2 gentlemen. The year I started, 73, the parts manager and bodyshop manager both retired after being there since around WWII or so. I worked with a parts man that had started there "part time" in 1945-46 or so, and never left. We still had parts for late 40's-50's passenger cars/trucks on the shelves. But the real motherlode of old N.O.S. parts was when Stevenson Chevrolet in Golden, Colorado moved to their new location. I helped them move, found a brand new in the box tailight assembly for my '38 chevy coupe, new grille bar for a 57(pre reproduction),accessories galore for 49-54 passenger car. Buddy bought it all for like $200, this in '73.
What'cha restoring?

IIRC Craig was taken over/merged/whatever by Medved in Wheat Ridge CO about 20 years ago when the area was "urban renewal-ed" to make way for a new shopping center.

You might contact them to see if they have old sales records.

Chevy Dealer | Medved Wheat Ridge | Denver & Lakewood Car Dealer

I bought a new '81 El Camino from Craig. Wish I still had it.

I remember Craig Chevrolet back in the day. Also, when Stevinson Chevrolet was a little teeny Chevy dealer in Golden. Chuck Stevinson was actually a friend of my Dad back then. Stevinson became a "mega-dealer" in the 1970's. Another guy, Mark Miller, who became another mega-dealer in the West, worked for Stevinson back then, too.
