Default cost of utilities in Pueblo

My wife and I will be retiring to Pueblo/Pueblo West and would like any information on utility costs. We took a scouting trip there in January and forgot to check on utility costs. I noticed many of the homes in Pueblo West were on propane and the ones in Pueblo were mostily heated by gas.

We're looking at getting a 1400 Sq ft ranch with full basement and wonder if anyone has a similar size home and what the utilities run. Any information would be appreciated. We now live in Indianapolis and the utilities are quite low--average $110/Mo for total electric for 1800 sq ft home. Thanks

Or give a realtor down there a call, they will be happy to help. I'm not one.

We had a house 25 miles SW of Pueblo (probably about 15-20 miles SW of Pueblo West) that was 3400 sq. ft. Heat and hot water were propane; everything else was electricity, and that included A/C.

Our average utility bill was $134/month for propane + electricity the last 12 months we lived there (ending in late 2005).
