I heard about about that, but part of Intersate 25 project. Maybe relocated the interstate outside of city limit and rebuilt I-25 as parkway north of downtown and as freeway south the river!

That was a option but they decided against it and are going to widen the existing interstate through the city if they ever get the money, last I hear close to 1.5 billion so I am not holding my breath lol

May I make a suggestion? Retake your pics in color, and of course in an updated format. 10/2007 is over a year ago, obviously. B&W is great, don't get me wrong, but most folks see in color.

Wild West Fest
I found this on this on the internet about the new PBR event in Pueblo this Spring.
Link: http://www.pueblochamber.org/index.php?nShow=299
Wild, Wild West Fest
"The Greater Pueblo Chamber, Historic Arkansas Riverwalk, PEDCo and the City and County of Pueblo have teamed up with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) to create an exciting new Festival slated for May of 2009. The Wild, Wild West Fest will bring together the flavor of Pueblo's past and the tradition of the Professional Bull Riders to churn out five days of wild western entertainment guaranteed to bring the cowboy out in all!"..........................
"The community of Pueblo can expect thousands of visitors over the course of the five-day festival. The PBR have a fan base of more than 1.5 million who attend PBR events annually. Nearly 90,000 fans attended the recent seven-day PBR World Finals event held in Las Vegas, while millions watched from home on network and cable television."
