Default United States Air Force's Initial Flight Screening (IFS) program

Pueblo Memorial Airport is also home to the United States Air Force's Initial Flight Screening (IFS) program of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC), which began operations on 1 October 2006. Doss Aviation, under contract with the USAF, will conduct flight screening for between 1300 and 1700 USAF 2nd Lieutenants annually. As the gateway to USAF Aviation, Doss will provide initial flying training allowing students to successfully transition to Undergraduate Flying Training (Pilot and Combat Systems Officer) at one of several Air Force bases throughout the United States. The 45 acre IFS campus is located immediately adjacent to the Pueblo Memorial Airport, Pueblo, Colorado

This is known as the world's smallest air base lol

Sorry. I'll edit if I can. You never put up a name here so maybe a signature would help.

Never, ever, ever assume a poster is a female unless if they've referred to themselves as a "she" or their name is so obvious is leaves behind all trace of a doubt. Nobody here has to give anyone their name, it's an online forum. It makes you look really stupid.

One more bit of advise look to see if the person has filled out a profile. In my case I have and it says I am a male..... But like I said before its not a big deal, as you can also see in my profile I am gay so I get called "girl" by my friends at times!

FWIW, my assumptions were based only on HIS user name assuming it was perhaps short for Josephine or Jossie etc etc. Gay or not, blah, blah, I could care less. I was appreciative of the efforts being made whatever the gender.

I didn't say anyone "had to give their" either. However, given that HE's clearly pushing for something beyond idle conversation and looking to help HIS community adding a signature (even a first name) would add credibility and be a step more professional also.

I have no problems putting my name to any post here or elsewhere, it's right there. Sign me; looking stupid but using my name.

...moving on....

My post went blank. What a drag.

Anyway, there's a sex icon between the username and status line; either for male or for female, assuming you have a profile pic. If you don't, then you still have a silhouette representing your sex, such as or .

So if you're a guy, you're represented as a white guy with brown hair, green shirt. For the women, a white lady, brown Carol Brady-style hair and the black blouse.

Fine. Except! Some women I know or at least who have a profile pic are NOT white men with the green shirt and brown hair.

I'd like to discuss this selection of icon representation with the sex icon selection committee!

Oh, it's snowing in southern Pueblo County now! Yippee!
