sorry if this has been posted already but is the pueblo-ranch project still in the plans or doa for now? I know the article is over a month old but, its still recent.

That is old. The developers of Pueblo Springs and Carlilo had a falling out. So they hired Buffy McFaddin and she is now the consultant for the project. Because of that they have to re file papers. But it should be annexed in 2009.

In the end I think it will be better for Pueblo that way Carlio can focus on his other developments and the Las Vegas devlopers can do what they do best, large scale developments.

Here is the latest:

"A change in corporate structure for the owners of Pueblo Springs Ranch will set back the annexation process for the property by another nine months."

Default CSU-Pueblo enrollment soars

"Colorado State University-Pueblo's spring enrollment is at its highest level in more than a decade.

According to recently released enrollment figures from the university, the school's spring 2009 head count is 4,310 students, an increase of 484 students from spring 2008 or a 12.7 percentage points jump."
