Doss chief says company here to stay
This was in the Pueblo Chieftain, Colorado's oldest paper, and it some interesting news on one of Pueblo's employers.
"Doss has a local payroll of $7 million for 185 employees, Smith said, adding that 95 percent of the employees live in Pueblo. He said the company will contribute an estimated $221 million to the local economy in the remaining seven years of its current contract."

Proposed Pueblo solar plant generates buzz, barbs
This has been in the news all week and the county commissioners passed it today!
News this week that Colorado could one day be home to the nation’s largest concentrated solar power plant — a facility of at least 200 megawatts near Pueblo — comes as welcome news to an energy sector faltering right along with the rest of the economy.
