This was in the Pueblo Chieftain and like some of the goals, not the toll road as I dont think anyone would use it in Pueblo, but I could be wrong....

Finally, the new Judicial Building will be a graceful piece of architecture visible from Interstate 25. It will markedly help the changing and improving Pueblo skyline. Along with the new Health Department building, it will improve Pueblo’s image and make a positive impact on travelers and visitors to our community.

Our community is on the move, and Pueblo County government is helping to lead the way.

More information on Pueblo:

PUEBLO, Colorado, March 23, 2009 (ENS) - Colorado Governor Bill Ritter today praised the decision of a high-tech water purification firm to expand and add more than 100 new jobs in Pueblo.

"These are clearly difficult economic times around the world, around the country and around Colorado. Pueblo itself is no stranger to tough times," Governor Ritter said at a news conference." But even now, even as people are struggling, something exciting is happening here in Pueblo," he said.

A city of about 100,000, Pueblo is one of the largest steel-producing cities in the United States. The economic hub of southeastern Colorado, the city hosts a number of electronics and aviation companies and also is becoming the region's renewable and nuclear energy capital.

Pueblo might get a high rise, more when the economy re bounds, and this is the minutes from them talking about it. There is not really a link but since this is the minutes from public hearings it should be ok to post them. If a moderator has any questions I will be more then happy to answer them.

Default Depot solar project wins important nod

More good news. The next step is Xcel and we should know in April.

"Officials of a group that wants to build a solar energy installation at the Pueblo Chemical Depot think they could have gotten by with an interim lease from the depot’s reuse authority but are happy to have the agency’s endorsement, nonetheless."

Default Innotrac corp

This was in the Wall Street journal Market Watch.

Innotrac, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, is a full-service fulfillment and logistics provider serving enterprise clients and world-class brands. The Company employs sophisticated order processing and warehouse management technology and operates eight fulfillment centers and two call centers in seven cities spanning all time zones across the continental United States. We intend to consolidate our Reno, Nevada call center into our Pueblo, Colorado call center facility and close our Romeoville, Illinois fulfillment facility during 2009. We will still have fulfillment, customer support and information technology support operations in our Reno facility. These two decisions resulted from the opportunity to improve our facility utilization in the rest of our service infrastructure following the loss of two customers who had heavy seasonal activity.

This is a great video on why the PBR wanted to come to Pueblo:

Not many cities have a zoo, in fact in Colorado only 3 cities have a zoo. They are Denver, Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

Here is the link to the video of the Pueblo zoo.
