I'm heading out to visit Durango for a "check it out" trip next week when my child is out for spring break. I wanted to check out the middle and high schools while out there. Does anyone know if the schools will be on spring break out there next week? Thanks & wish me luck on this trip. This will be the first time to the Durango area & I'm hoping I fall in love with it and the plan is to move about the middle of July this year. Otherwise, I may be stuck in Prescott Valley, AZ with all this uncontrolled growth!

Hey TGiA,

Dgo schools are on spring break Mar. 26-30 this year (I'm pretty sure). You might want to double check at www.durangoschools.com or call the district (see below).

If you want to make some appts. (area code is 970)
> DHS - 259.1630
> Miller Mid - 247.1418
> Escalante Mid - 247.9490
> School Dist. 9r - 247.5411

I highly recommend swinging through some of the towns near Dgo, too - Bayfield, Farmington, Aztec, Cortez, etc - if you have time. Good luck and best wishes for a great week and beyond!

Hi ILUVNM!

Thanks for the post compliment!

Yeah the weather here is amazing! It really helps me to remember just how good we've got it!

I love spring when it starts to warm up - summer, too. And, uh, winter is great, and oh yeah Fall is so cool! wow...

Enjoy the weather & best wishes!

Hi Dgoboy! I went bike riding. The weather is fantastic! It is hard to not be outdoors as much as possible. Happy trails!
