That has to be one of the best things I like about Pueblo, for being only 150,000 we are very cosmopolitan, more so then Colorado Springs is in my humble opinion.

Pueblo does have water. It has one of the major 4 rivers running right through it. Pueblo has a river walk. Pueblo has a place for kayakers to play.

I dare to see kayakers do this in the sewage water that is Fountain Creek in Colorado Springs.

[mod cut personal attack] Colorado and the grass lands do have serious water problems. But this has NOTHING to do with the likes of Pueblo and everything to do with Colorado Springs, Briargate, Monument, Palmer Divide, Denver, Aurora, etc. etc. [mod cut personal attack]
If you all get a chance, check out the awesome Mexican food in Pueblo. Soon to come, Awesom Italian food post.
McGowDog-So all of these pictures, including the beach looking ones, were taken in Pueblo?

I don't know what pictures you're talking about.

I've taken more than a few around here and other places too.

My wife and I lived in Pueblo in the mid 80's. Aside from the lack of jobs we liked it. We were introduced to some great small town amenities like the food at the Pantry and the Grand Prix, etc. I know the Pantry is still there. We moved back to the NW and then a year ago traveled back to Pueblo to visit, Unbelievable transformation, Yea! Pueblo. The downtown is something to behold from waht it was a ways back. Were planning to return and retire there in 4 years. So look out Pueblo we're headin your way. Glen & Barbara

I'm sorry to butt in on your post but I'm not tech savvy AT ALL and have no idea how to use this site. I'm a sophomore transferring to CSU pueblo next summer or fall and I have no feel for the place. I've visited Pueblo very briefly for a tour of the campus which was wonderful but how is the real pueblo? Is it a good move for someone my age? I like to go out and party but I'm also very serious about school. Opinions???

The county courthouse is beautiful. It's really well maintained.
