Default High Altitude Gardening

We're at 9000', just wonder if there's any possibility of vegtable gardening at this altitude? Anyone have any experience with this? All input appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, it can be done.

Your growing season is short. A "tunnel" greenhouse extends the season by allowing you to start seedlings/seeds early and will extend a couple of weeks at the end.

Contact your County Extension Agent's office for information about what varieties do best in the area, also check into any Master Gardener program in the area.
