Perhaps if you shared your housing budget & needs (size, bedrooms, yard, etc.), we might be able to help more, since rich is a matter of perspective.

This is another definition that is becoming popular:

"The Front Range Urban Corridor is an oblong region of urban population located along the eastern face of the Southern Rocky Mountains in the U.S. states of Colorado and Wyoming. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the Front Range Urban Corridor had a population of 4,175,239 on 2007-07-01, an increase of +13.21% since United States Census 2000.]"

...basically, up next to the mountains (East side of Rockies) but not in the mountains or on the plains.

For simplicity - east of the foothill areas (east of areas above 7000 feet or so) and west of I-25. The corridor in-between would be considered the "Front Range" (which includes Pueblo, Co Springs, Denver, Longmont/Boulder, Fort Collins, etc). Note, you can go a bit east of I-25 and still be in this area - just not as far east as say Fort Morgan or something.

Some say it's Pueblo to Fort Collins, but I say it's Colorado Springs Metro up north throughout the Denver Metro and all the way up to Fort Collins and it demands its own sub-forum. Add: Oh, I guess Cheyenne Wyoming would be included too.

I have absolutely no interest in helping people relocate in Broomfield, Westminster, or Fort Collins and think it's a shame this post has to go into the Colorado subforum.

I'm sure those in the SE plains and all of the Western Slope posters would share my sentiments, whether they verbalize them or not.

But welcome to City-Data and I hope you get help here.

I just think this would be better served in the Denver Metro forum and the Fort Collins forum specifically.

Front range means the adjacent land to the east of the mountains.
