Talking relocate to colorado

My husband and I live in kansas city, mo and are planning to relocate to colorado. Where is a really good place to live? what city has a low cost of living? I have heard to stay away from Greeley. What about Fort Collins, longmont, or down off I70 like Grand Junction.

More info, of course. What do you do for work, if you are working? Kids of school age? Your age/health?

Data point- I know a guy who grew up in Montrose/Ridgway, had a very successful but draining guest ranch business, sold it for a lot of money and moved to Kansas City for better access to college for kids and Christian organizations. I bet he misses the mountains, but there's a lot more for his family in K.C.

Thats right! Greeley is just fine the way it is. It hasn't succumbed to the odious developer scum like the rest of the Front Range has.

Awright, guys, let's not be so hard on the OP! Lots of us "heard" things about CO before we came here, too.

It would help to know what you are intending to do here in Colorado, both to make a living and recreationally, why you want to move here. It's a big state.
