Shhannecharlotte is on a distinguished road
Default I am spending a week there on vacation.

I will be in Co for about a week or so. Flying into Denver, going to Vail to ski the next morning, going to modest mouse that night, but what else should i do?

i dont want to do the whole stereotypical tourist thing.

thrift stores....any good ones?

What fine dining restaurant should i not miss out on?

Which bar has the best atmosphere and why?

Where can i meet the artsy alcoholics who just want to have good conversation?

which neighborhood is the best to walk around?

If i were to hang out in the 'downtown' area, which town should i visit, and where should i go?

Being from Charleston, SC...i know very little of the western part of my country. All i know is that 12 years ago, i visited Colorado and fell in love with the huge skies and relaxed people.

tell me everything...i cannot wait to go
thanks-Anne

TripAdvisor may be a better place to ask certain questions. But one word of advice - I'm assuming you are talking about the Modest Mouse concert in Boulder on the 28th - give yourself PLENTY of time. If you are going to be skiing in Vail that day and trying to get down to Boulder for that concert, allow for the horrible traffic on I-70 on a Saturday.

I'm assuming you are planning on staying in Boulder that night as well?
