Need a lot of help, like to move to Colorado.

Want to go Green, Liberal and have a small town feel,
drive to major city and shopping. I have seen Longmont
mentioned quite a bit.

Can we start with some recommendations,
need the mountain view and access to outdoor activities.

How is Pueblo not a easy drive to a major city? First off we are a major city second off its only a hour and a half to Denver.

That being said I am not sure Pueblo is for you if you want a small town feel since Pueblo is one of the largest cities in the state and growing. We are the states democratic strong hold but Pueblo is more of a industrial blue collar town not a liberal hippy town like Boulder. If you want more information on Pueblo look at this thread:

If you have any questions about Pueblo I would be more then happy to answer them!

Longmont is not known as particularly liberal, nor is it a "small town". Neither is Boulder a small town.

Not saying that Longmont is the place for the OP, but it does seem to getting more liberal and I think that it has a small town feel -- at least in old town (where I live).

But if you're thinking green and liberal, I'd think Boulder. How about Louisville?

I don't know if you'd call Louisville "liberal" or not. It's fiscally pretty conservative, and it's a major family town. If you aren't married and/or a parent, you might feel pretty out of place here.
