How's it goin everyone..?

I'm planning on moving to Colorado from Las Vegas in the near future. I'm a 25/m, I work as a real estate appraiser, I love outdoors, mtns, snowboarding, hiking, etc. I like nightlife, women, and partying, but I don't get out of control (anymore)lol. Anyway I've been looking a lot into Broomfield in between Denver and Boulder. I'm kinda stuck in between left and right politics at the moment, I guess you could consider me a hippy, even though I don't share a lot of the same beliefs...LOVE the music, kind hearted vibe, openness, nature lovin way of life that I feel a lot of "hippies" share.
Help me find a place, I think Broomfield would be a good place because I could work in Boulder and Denver, and it seems like a place that attracts the same type of people.

Is Broomfield a good spot, or should I look elsewhere?

Thanks for the help.

I am not sure if Broomfield would be my first choice. Have you looked into areas between Denver and Golden at all? BTW: I would love to know how you got into home appraising??? Looking for a new career myself. BTW: Just moved from Denver and miss it dearly, you will love it.

Broomfield would be a good in between spot.

Appraisers drive all over creation and I think being near a highway would also work.

Cool, thanks for the quick responses. Atlanta, I got into this because my dad has been doing it for 20+ years. Hard job to get into, I guess I got kinda lucky. It can be very stressful though, especially in these times. I'll research in between Golden and Denver. Any towns that stick out to you?

I've been hearing a lot of good things about Louisville. What are the rental rates for Louisville?

http://www.dora.state.co.us/real-est...rlicensing.htm

Starts with 75 hours of education (at armbrust $975) and passing the test and a $75 application fee.

The hard part is finding someone to mentor you. I've heard of people paying $10,000 to let them be an intern for someone. I guess what I'm saying is, don't spend $975 until you find someone.

So one FIRST needs school and then to past the test BEFORE they start appraising??

Once they did the above, they are "trainee's" and need to be supervised for how many years???
