That second pic there or the one with the concrete truck (really no such thing as a cement truck ) is the one that chaffes my hide every morning because people wait till the last minute to force their way in to go southbound onto I-25.

I have to issue a daily driving lesson right there M-F. The lesson is;
You shoulda planned ahead! I'm gonna speed up, I'm gonna slow down, but you ain't gettin' in. Kapeesh?

LOL! Yea, I remember when I-10 still had grass in the median here in Phoenix...those aren't highways; those are just boulevards...! Oddly however there appears to be space for...CARS! Trade ya?

Default Pueblo's version of I-225 in Denver!

So much traffic, how did I manage!

What ever you do don't go north its the Springs!!! I still think the sign should read north Denver like it did back in the 1960's

Wow, the mountains actually look closer than a 30 mile drive in the one picture - very deceptive!

They are not far at all reginheld! If I had to move back to the front range Pueblo would be the pick for that very reason. The Wet Mountain range and the Sangre De Cristo's are great; there is such a thing as getting away for a day trip in the mountains and not run into a zillion people. You have it there as opposed to Denver and the Springs. Then there is fishing. Start with Pueblo reservoir, one of the top rec areas in the state.

So Reginhild, how far do you think they actually are? Colorado City is at the foothill of that Greenhorn Mountain there, which is still in Pueblo County. What's the deception? Did God decept us by actually putting a mountain there? Doiy! Thanks, HH. There's actually a Gorge over there too, but you can't see gorges from afar.
