Does anyone have any reviews on this development? I drove through there today and it is by far the best place I have seen over the course of this week looking for places.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Mac.

Tallyn's Reach has been discussed before. It is a very nice place. Tell us what you like about it and I'll tell you about any others I think you may like too.

I liked the "open feel" and "newness" to the place. I also like that it is right between my current office (close to DIA) and my new office (2008) off of Arapahoe east of I-25. It seems to be 20 min from everything (mountains, downtown denver, DIA etc). It also has great views of the city and the front range. Seems like you can get a brand new house (3 bedrooms.garage.2500ft) for about $320,000. It is also in the Cherry creek schools. It is also right by Southlands Mall which is AWESOME!

Negatives are:

Still under construction...and still feels like you are "away from everything" (compared to littleton, HR etc).

I really liked it, but wanted to here any other pluses or minuses.

I tried a serch and did not come up with much.

Thanks.

You like the "newness" but didn't like the "out there-ness"

You like a short commute. Could you tolerate a longer commute now for a shorter commute later?

HR is also still under construction - 26 years after the first house.

Right near Tallyn's Reach is Saddle Rock, more established, and to the north is Wheatlands and SouthShore new but you can't beat the location for the price, farther west you have Piney Creek, Tuscany, you don't want to get to far into Centennial because of "airport influence"

Where did you search? And when do you want to move in?

My wife & I will be visiting the Denver area within a couple of weeks. We are looking more towards the NORTHERN Denver areas. $350K is our ceiling. We want "suburban" areas but still within 30-45 minutes of Downtown. A new home is a priority, also a 3 car garage is a must.

THANKS

Not to discourage you, but I do want to point out that in this development (Tallyn's Reach) as well as the others planned for the e-470 corridor, virtually require you to use E-470 for most of your trips, which is a toll road. I urge you to check their website at http://www.e-470.com/ and figure out how much you'll spend in tolls -- E-470 is one of the most expensive per-mile toll roads in the country. I would expect that should you choose to live there, you will have to budget a significant expenditure for tolls. On the plus side, E-470 is usually very uncrowded -- the high tolls make sure the road stays clear at all times.
