LOL funny but true......

I have always said in some alternate universe Pueblo is the capitol city of Colorado and is 2.5 million people and Denver is 150,000 people. The problem is there I live in Denver and am saying the same thing, that in some universe Denver is the big city lol

Default Pbr

The Professional Bull Riders is also headquartered in Pueblo, they moved here from Colorado Springs. Not many cities of 100,000 can claim to be home of a major company like this! Here is a description of them:

More than 100 million viewers tune in each year to the PBR on FOX, NBC, ESPN, VERSUS, and on a host of foreign networks across the globe. With approximately 500 hours of prime time programming annually, PBR ranks among the most prolific sports on air, in addition to attracting over 1.7 million live event attendees each year with it multi-tiered event structure which includes the prestigious Built Ford Tough Series, the Copenhagen Bull Riding Challenger Tour, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Tour, and the Discovery Tour, designed specifically for entry level contestants. The PBR is headquartered in Pueblo, Colo., with additional offices in Australia, Brazil, Canada, and Mexico. The PBR prides itself in its 1,000 plus stock contractor relationships and over 1,200 PBR bull riders competing in more than 300 PBR sanctioned competitions in five countries.

The PBR building is the 4 story one on the left.

No, I don't think of Pueblo as a major city in Colorado either. Look at the city-data forums, only Denver, Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins, and Boulder deserve their own forum areas!

They just needed a more dusty place for the PBR - eg. Pueblo. The dust flying in the air adds to the excitement!

Yes but if you look at the U.S. census official stats for Colorado they say we have 6 metro areas:

1 - Pueblo
2 - Denver
3 - Colorado Springs
4 - Fort Collins/ Loveland
5 - Greeley
6 - Grand Junction

The Ceo of PBR says his goal is to make Pueblo a "household" name all over the world and is starting a "Wild West Fest" here in May where thousands of people will come here and it will be broadcast all over the world to millions of people. Also, Pueblo is home to the PBR team championships in the fall that is seen all over the world and on ESPN. Not many cities the size of Colorado Springs can say they have 2 events nationally televised and to over 80 countries every year let alone Pueblo's!

I think Pueblo has a larger population than Boulder or Ft. Collins but it still gets no forum area!

Please explain this to us about fellow statements:

Pueblo is one of the largest steel-producing cities in the United States.

Pueblo tends to get less snow than the other major cities in Colorado.

Many consider Pueblo to be the major economic hub of south eastern colorado.

Pueblo is becoming the region's renewable energy capital.

This four statements is true for a any major cities!
