Default Pueblo, CO, Downtown and RiverWalk -- PHOTO TOUR

This is part of Downtown Pueblo from our newest parking garage. You can see the Riverwalk, the professional bull riders building (PBR), Angelos Pizza, and the side of the Vail Hotel.

This is Pueblo's tallest office building at 216 feet. It was built in the early 1970's.

This is Pueblo's historic Thatcher building built before 1915 and is 7 stories tall. It was built and named after one of Pueblo's early important families.

I found this one and had to post it with the other ones about the environment around Pueblo.

You can see the Rocky Mountain steel mill in the back ground and the city maintenance building.

I like this pic because it shows how Pueblo has a Midwestern manufacturing city feel to it. To be honest I like that as compared to the high tech feel of the cities up north, I think it is because I have grown up here.

This was taken from the new parking garage in downtown Pueblo.

I think that Thatcher Building on 5th and Main (??) or the one up the block on 6th is where my massage therapist resides. Janetta! If you go there, go to the 3rd floor and tell her McGowdog sent ya! You'll still pay and arm and a leg, but I'll get 20 minutes free.

Nice pics and I love the ones from the parking garage. I haven't thought of going there yet, much less taking pics from the thing. Glad to see you met Vegas. Now when you get a chance, check out his photo tours and I'd also suggest looking at DenverAztecs! They are both brilliant in totally different ways.

I've been pictured out lately, but after seeing Vegas' Cherry Creek photos, I'd like to get back out there. It was almost 60° today.

This high rise is one of the Belmont senior towers in Pueblo. It is 17 stories high, the top 2 you cant see from this view, and I think is the tallest in terms of number of stories in the Pueblo Metro area, possibly southern Colorado, but not by height.

Before anyone says anything, I know official stats are by how tall a building is by feet, but I just find this kewl that Pueblo has a tower 17 stories high!

Default Fort Pueblo

Pueblo is the only city in Colorado built on the actual site of a fort. This is in downtown Pueblo.

What the fort might of looked like inside.

The musem.

This is an active site and in this building they are finding artifacts from the original fort.
