Default Lochbuie Colorado

Hi there. I am looking for more information/reviews on the Lochbuie area. It seems very affordable and we have looked at the new KB Homes community. Every time we mention this area to friends living in Colorado though, they seem to try and get us away from that area. What is the deal with the bad reputation? What have you heard about Lochbuie? Does it have potential for growth and house appreciation?

I look forward to your comments. Thanks!

This is the first I have ever heard of that town. I looked it up on the Internet. If you want to live in a very small bedroom community of Denver then it might be good but there are many more places I could suggest around the Denver metro area to be honest....

It's a trailer park town that has had some new subdivisions move in.

It is a long commute to Denver.

It has potential for growth, but I think the growth has stalled for now. I don't think it has much potential for home appreciation.

I like Lochbuie ok. It is what it is.

Just so you know... KB Homes has a terrible reputation and is the subject of nearly constant lawsuits by angry homebuyers.

I've never been to Lochbuie, except to see it whizzing by at 75. Seems like it's kinda far out, though. Surely there's something closer in.

I was going to say the same thing. Our HOA is currently in a lawsuit with KB for construction Defects.

My wife and I looked at a townhome there several years ago, it did not really strike me as a place to live, it is pretty far from anything, and very bland

Default Thank you!

Hey everyone. I really appreciate all your input on Lochbuie. Between all that I have read here, and from others, I think my family is definitely going to stay away from Lochbuie. We've done some house searching online, and there are lots of options for us in our price range in better areas. Again, thank you for your help.

KB homes are not the only builder here in our nice town of Lochbuie Co. we have fantastic Genisis homes at Bella Vista. Nice tile roofing on many of the few homes left for sale here.We have a fantastic home association here.
We love our country living here in Lochbuie.
We are a safe town with a great police force.
