Hi
I'm hoping to move from the UK to Colorado and would appreciate any advice and tips. We are used to city living but are happy to trade it in for more of a country life in or near a metro area (not too isolated). We have a teenage daughter so schools and social time is very important. My husband works in marketing and product management (consumer electronics)and I have worked for local government for 11 years as a Youth Worker and school truancy officer. Advice on great places to live, renting accomodation, schools and jobs would be much appreciated.

The areas I would look into are Colorado Springs, it is a nice medium sized city and quite beautiful especially west of there into mountains, such as Manitou Springs or Woodland Park. Loveland and Longmont are some other smaller cities not far from Fort Collins and Denver. Grand Junction is nice if you like the desert. Cheerio!
