It's just so warm here, I think it was 40ish this morning. I do want the snow to come, so I don't have to go to work tomorrow!!!!!!!

So let's just hope for the temps to drop and it'll come!!

I think we will get more snow then rain, the low pressure is coming just right to pull down the cold air. I think it will be the typical spring storm, wet and heavy snow, but that is very pretty and then it melts fast so we can still have a good weekend!

Could be a whopper.

Suggest travelers book a hotel room near the airport, one that can be cancelled right up to 6PM without any penalty. That way, if the flight is cancelled, the room is already there, beating the rush for rooms. If the flight does go out, one can cancel at the last minute without being charged for a night.

Default winter weather advisory

Urgent - winter weather message
national weather service pueblo co
1037 am mdt thu apr 16 2009

This is better then just rain! Pueblo is always on the rain/snow line this time of year, cities west of us get only snow and cities east of us get only rain.

...winter weather advisory in effect from 3 am friday to noon mdt
saturday...

The national weather service in pueblo has issued a winter
weather advisory for heavy snow and blowing snow...which is in effect
from 3 am friday to noon mdt saturday. The winter storm watch is
no longer in effect.

This advisory is in effect for eastern fremont county and pueblo
county.

Precipitation will change to snow late tonight and then continue
into saturday morning. Friday afternoon temperatures may be warm
enough in some areas for the precipitation to switch back over to
rain or mixed rain and snow. Thus snowfall accumulations are
expected to be highly variable. Total snowfall amounts are
expected to range from 1 to 3 inches for eastern pueblo county on
the grassy surfaces...to between 3 to 8 inches across southern
and western portions of the area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

If you are planning to travel in the advisory area during the
time of the advisory...listen to the latest weather forecast and
consider traveling at another time or by another route.

Yeah, if they'd just get someone with a little experience for a change.

Bring on the moisture. Rain, snow, spring runoff, we'll take it.
