Nice to see COLO SPGS in the top ten. I certainly agree.

Seems odd that Fargo, ND would be a top 10 small town, they flooded 12 years ago and they're flooding now, again.

Of course the list is flawed because it is looking at past data but we all know that the real city of opportunity for the future is Pueblo. The people who know the future before everyone else will reap the benefits. So, Josseppie, buy all the land and buildings in Pueblo that are good values today, and tomorrow you will be a multimillionaire, remembered---with your heir living in Palm Springs.

yeah right......

Colorado's unemployment rate hit a 20-year high in February at 7.2 percent. It hasn't been that high since February 1988. A look at local unemployment rates for February, not seasonally adjusted:
— Metro Denver: 7.9 percent (4.6 percent in February 2008)
— Boulder-Longmont: 6.1 percent (3.9 percent in February 2008)
— Colorado Springs: 8.4 percent (5.3 percent in February 2008)
— Fort Collins-Loveland: 6.5 percent (4.3 percent in February 2008)
— Grand Junction: 7.2 percent (3.9 percent in February 2008)
— Greeley: 8.4 percent (5.2 percent in February 2008)
— Pueblo: 8.9 percent (5.9 percent in February 2008)

Then going by your logic in using unemployment figures how is Colorado Springs in the top ten?

Colorado Springs: 8.4 percent (5.3 percent in February 2008)

Pueblo: 8.9 percent (5.9 percent in February 2008)

Not much of a difference!

I take all of Forbes' lists with a grain of salt. Their methodology tends to be quite screwy at times.

Yes I have been told my whole life I am always happy. I do work and trust me they tease me all the time about how much I LOVE Pueblo. In fact I work in downtown Pueblo and my newest craze is the crane for the parkview medical center. I am always talking about it and going out side to look at it. my co workers are like not the crane again!
