Default Littleton, Arvada or Englewood

Hi all,
I have an opportunity to work/live in Colorado...which is a better area, Littleton, Arvada or Englewood? We need acearge as we raise alpacas. We need at least 5 acres and need to be no less than 30 minutes from one of those towns. We love the view of the mountains (I see that Elizabeth is rather flat, the town that is), whereas to the west of Denver is more rolling hills and trees.
Thanks for your input.
Dog

So you may be working in either Littleton, Arvada or Englewood? Do you know that Littleton and Englewood city limits are right next to each other, with Littleton addresses spreading way far west (almost to the foothills) and Englewood addresses spreading way far east. So it's hard to say what is within 30 minutes unless we know what you mean.

You would probably have better luck going south and east. Of course, what you are asking for -- acreage within an easy commute of Denver -- is going to be expensive. You could even find what you are looking for in the Parker area, but again, you are looking at expensive.

You mention that Elizabeth is flat, but a lot of the areas around Elizabeth are hilly and look almost like you are in the foothills.

There is a large concentration of acreage houses in Douglas & Elbert Counties. You'd have to check with Planning & Zoning about alpacas.
