I understand why wouldn't want to go into national politics since it puts everyone who has had contact with you under a microscope and sometimes that doesn't feel fair. But either way good luck if you do go into local politics . Whatever you do please don't sell cars because you would put alot of people out of a job! This isn't to put you down I am just saying that you are very good at what you do and that is rare these days. Heck it sounds like if you truely believe in something then you will preach that whole heartly and I applaud you for that! Even if we don't agree on certain things I believe you should know that you are doing a very good job at representing Pueblo!

For some odd reason I just really LOVE Pueblo. I have always been that way, when I was 8 my family would ask if I ever talk about anything else besides Pueblo. I just said no. I would even make my family come home from Denver early when we would visit family as I had to be in Pueblo for a event they had. Oh and the day Pueblo got picked the best place in the country to live I was in HEAVIN! I was in middle school and made my grandma take me to the event at the Sangre De Cristo Art center and was so happy I was almost in tears when they gave the speech about why Pueblo was such a great place to live. I even had to be at Dutch Clark Stadium when they took the picture of us from the sky about it. The first company PEDCo got was Sperry, now it is the USAF pilot training school, and I was at the event. I was one of the ones who stood up and clapped and cheered for like 5 to 10 minutes because I was sooo happy. I have so many stories like that, I could go on for hours but I think you get the point.<------ DROK I know.
BTW if the Springs is so good do they have anyone who loves their city as much as I love Pueblo?????

Josse,.....I thought I loved my town as much as you then,...I moved to Florida on the beach ( I know,...who wouldn't LOVE that, right?)
I sooooooo missed Canon City ( NOT DENVER WHERE I GREW UP!!).
I couldn't hardly stand myself!! I just wanted to be near the mountains and seasons!! After all...being directly ON THE BEACH is only water,...right??
There is, and always will be,.something about the hills/mountains!!
My family ( Mom and Sister) are still mad that I moved back to Colorado!!
They are the reason I grew up here( My mom moved us here when I was 4)....
THIS IS MY HOME!!!!Always will be..until my last breath!!
I completely understand your LOVE of Pueblo ( I feel the same way about Canon City)....I just know that there are sooo many arguments to DISS Pueblo as compared COS!! TRUE!!
If there was a TRUE argument between the two.....Canon City would sneak through the cracks and, win hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL Canon City is very nice town. On that subject I heard that when the state was forming they were deciding where CU, the state hospital and prison systems would go. I wonder what this area would look like if Canon got the university and Boulder got the prison system. I am not trying to dog on the prison system, just a interesting thought.
As far as living by the ocean, I agree 100%. I went to grad school in San Diego and lived in Orlando for a year. I have to say both towns are very nice but I could care less for the ocean. The Colorado mountains are much more fun.

Perhaps you have not seen my posts. I have lived in Orlando for a year, and San Diego for 5 years. I, also, travel a lot and have been all over the world.....

My parents grew up in Pueblo, and my grandfather still lives there. It's a nice place to visit, well actually it's not, it's just a nice place...well, ok it's just a place.
