- Old Chicago's - Pueblo has many pizza places including Angelo's on the Riverwalk and the Do Drop Inn just north of downtown on Sante Fe Ave.
- Night Life - Pueblo has night life along Union ave, Sante Fe Ave, Main street and Midtown.
- Nevada/Tejon Avenue - Pueblo has Union Ave and Main street.
- Mataam Fez - I guess that is a resturant, Pueblo has plenty of them.
- Acacia Park/5A High Schools - No high schools in downtown but Central is only a few blocks to the west. We have many parks in downtown. Two are: Mineral Palace Park and the Riverwalk.
Nice try though!

I think they both suck... But Colorado Springs downtown definitely sucks less.

downtown Pueblo
I was trying to find a picture that would show all of downtown Pueblo and this is the best I could find. This is about 1/2 of Pueblo's downtown as many things are missing including midtown, Parkview medical center, Mineral palace park, the Riverwalk area, ice house, the grove, Baseball stadium and lake. Also, you can only see 1 of the 4 exits from I-25 into the downtown area. That being said I think it gives a idea of just how big downtown Pueblo is, especially if you consider this is only 1/2 of it.
Just picture what Pueblo would look like with a few 20 plus story highrise's, a dense Riverwalk area and some nice highrise condo buildings around Mineral Palace Park! I can see that happening in the next 11 years.

That's like saying
"1. Pueblo resevoir - Colorado Springs has more resevoirs than Pueblo.
Nice try claiming Pueblo's resevoir is better though!"

Not really, to be honest I would pick a good local restaurant over a chain any day. Second, Pueblo does not have the best night life but the Springs is not much better and you have more stabbing's then we do. I would take our parks over yours any day and finally our historic area beats the Spring's historic area hands down.
Keep in mind Pueblo is only 100,000 compared to the Springs being 350,000 so what does that say about the Springs that I can even make a comparison. The Spring's downtown should be so much bigger that it would drawf Pueblo's. Imagine what they will look like once Pueblo does grow, and we will grow.

I know I can't think of 5.
1. The CLOSE backdrop of Pikes Peak( views)
2. FREX ( I know this is a "roving" thing, but still!)
3. DOC headquarters (unless you don't consider it in downtown)
4. World Arena ( again, unless you don't consider it downtown)
5. TGIF ( I love TGIF, wish we had one in Canon City )
Greyhound Bus....I know Pueblo has this too (depends on where you think Pueblo's downtown is, right? )

1. The CLOSE backdrop of Pikes Peak( views) That is the one thing the Springs has over Pueblo, that being said we do have nice views of the mountains and Pikes Peak. In fact there is one angle I love and am trying to find a way to take a picture of it. Once I do I will post it here.
2. FREX ( I know this is a "roving" thing, but still!) You guys have that but that is more of a way to get to Denver not help out downtown.
3. DOC headquarters (unless you don't consider it in downtown) That is south of town, not in downtown. Plus it sill might be moving to the north side of Pueblo, sadly not in downtown.
4. World Arena ( again, unless you don't consider it downtown) Not in downtown, that being said Pueblo has the State Fair Events Center but that is not in downtown either.
5. TGIF ( I love TGIF, wish we had one in Canon City ) I love that place too but both cites have great restaurants in downtown.
Greyhound Bus....I know Pueblo has this too (depends on where you think Pueblo's downtown is, right? ) Pueblo's is not in downtown, I give you that. Not sure I consider it a amentia though.[/quote]
My point is Pueblo is only 100,000 people and the city of Colorado Springs is over 350,000 people and they have nothing in their downtown that Pueblo does not have yet we have things that downtown Colorado Springs does not have. Imagine what downtown Pueblo will be like when we are at 350,000 people! That is why I say downtown Pueblo is better.
The challenge is still out there! Can anyone give me 5 amentias downtown Colorado Springs has that downtown Pueblo does not?

I don't know. Pound for pound, Pueblo has their share of stabbings. Don't sell it short.
