Default copper mountain lodging?

We are looking at a family vacation to copper mountain jan. 2010. So I have time to plan and research. It will 4 of us 2 are kids that will be 3 and 5 1/2. When looking at some of the condos online some seem really old inside and the nice looking ones are 400-500 a night. So does anyone have a recommedation for lodging that isn't way expensive for a family. There seem to be so many condos right there and its a bit overwelming.

When are you going?
The best restaurant @ Copper is C B Grille. The Incline is pretty good but not consistent. You'll find many more dining choices in Frisco which is around a 5 minute drive or free shuttle ride.

Copper Mountain is a few minutes from Frisco, another 5 to Silverthorne and Dillon and 10 more to Breckenridge and actually only 20 miles to the center of Vail. They all have lodging and many restaurants. Copper is not really a town so it can get boring. All the ski areas in Summit County are first class.
