Default Crystal Colorado -- Ghost Town Lodging

I'm fairly new to Colorado and would like to backpack to the Crystal Mill and stay there overnight...can anyone tell me about summer cabins at the Crystal Mill site/semi-ghost town of Crystal?

I don't even know if it is correct (especially since I found it on Wikipedia), but this website mentioned that there are a few very rustic cabins that can be rented in the summer: Crystal, Colorado - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. I can't find any other information on these in my research about this place. I was hoping to find someone on here who was familiar with the town and who could tell me if these things exist. Thanks!

It all depends on your viewpoint. Shift your perspective.

What, shift my perspective? I'd have to get my head out of my . . .

There is a person that can tell you all about Crystal. She has been going since she was a kid and owns a cabin there. Email me at cdmorris5@yahoo.com and I will connect you two.

Wink A lovely place

Although having no idea about formal accommodations in Crystal, CO, and rather doubting it, a suggestion here of another option. You may well pass by Redstone, CO in traveling through Marble, CO to reach Crystal.

The Redstone Inn:

located in Redstone, and just off the highway, could make an ideal base for your further travels. I have never stayed there, but the lobby and general ambience seem inviting. Not to mention Redstone enjoys a lovely location, situated next the Crystal river.

In traveling through the Roaring Fork valley and surrounding region, Redstone and its environs always seem a special place.
