Default Backpacking in Colorado

Hi Everyone!!!

I am looking for a place to go backpacking with my boyfriend in a couple weeks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Probably max of a 6 mile hike, as I am not in the the most tip top shape currently.

Preferably something easy to find, we are both directionally challenged And somethign not corwded would be great as well!

Thanks!!

Given such broad parameters, I would suggest that you look in a couple of other places first:

The San Juan mountains in southern Colorado. Not crowded. Beautifu. has the largest wilderness area in colorado.

6 miles = day hike, not "backpacking", right?
