Default Where to move to?

My sister and her General Contractor husband are thinking of moving to Boulder or Colorado Springs or? They have 4 kids (ages 2-10) and enjoy outdoor activities (hiking, hunting, etc.) Any suggestions on where he might find work, and where they might "fit in"? They moved to CO from GA last year to follow some work, which has since dried up.

A 2nd cousin of my brothers friend who recently moved from Colombus Georgia to Columbus Ohio is wondering the same thing. Where can he find work in Boulder or CS, and where is he likely to fit in ( he is 6 ft 5 and weighs 275 lbs ). He prefers outdoor work, but there has been too much rain this year, so the outdoor work has dried up.
