Default Work in Greenwood Village, live in HR?

Would it be feasible to work in Greenwood Village and live in Highlands Ranch? Looking at mapquest, it looks like it's not far at all, but maps don't always tell the real story.

Any other family-friendly areas with good schools within a 15-30 minute drive from Greenwood Village? We're looking in the $250k-$350k price range, so I think actually buying a home in Greenwood Village wouldn't be possible (looking for 1995 or newer, 3bd, 2ba, 1800+ sq ft, 8000-10,000 sq ft lot).

Thanks

absolutely! Lots of people live in HR (Central or east side would be less of a commute) and work in GV.

Lots of houses available newer in that price range. 76 of them to be specific.
(yes, I am a local real estate broker.)

Living in HR & commuting to GV would be a shorter trip than most HR residents make. Of course living in the farthest southwest corner of HR and working in the farthest northeast part of GV puts you into one of the worst communting routes in town, the dreaded C-470.

But if you were to travel north and south along Yosemite, Quebec and a few others, you'll be a happy camper.
