If you are looking to do some skiing, the I-70 resorts (Copper Mtn, Breckenridge etc) have pretty good package deals during the holidays.

For a different kind of experience, you could pitch a tent for one nite at each of the 5 tri state points where Colorado meets up with 2 other states. You could also camp at the four corners point, but heck...nobody does that anymore, it's too popular. ( Additionally, the 4 corners marker is inaccurrately located! )

#1: Colorado-Nebraska-Kansas
#2: Colorado-Kansas-Oklahoma
#3: Colorado-Oklahoma-New Mexico
#4: Colorado-Utah-Wyoming
#5: Colorado-Wyoming-Nebraska

Some or all of them may be located on private property so it would be best to reseach that and obtain permission from the owner beforehand. Happy camping and Merry Christmas!

If this goes well, you might want to visit all 62 tri points in the USA.

Ramah Reservoir. I posted directions but they were deleted. If you want to take your vacation near the quaint towns of Ramah or Calhan then let me know via PM and I'll give you directions via little traveled backroads...

The original posting (OP) is too vague, it's impossible to reply helpfully, we're grasping at straws, so I'm closing this thread until such time a new one may be started with enough specificity as to the sort of experience being sought.
