Default Best rental places in Castle Rock/Parker

Hi everyone!
I will be relocating with my family in the beginning of September. I was hoping someone could give me a good recommendation on a place to rent in Castle Rock or Parker. It's so hard to determine just from looking online. I have young children, so my priority is that it's in a super safe area with good schools. Any advice would be super helpful!!!!
Thanks!!
LV

Apartment? SFH? Budget? That whole area is excellent, nothing dodgy or spotty.

That's good to know- I was looking for an apartment, just so I can stay there for a year before getting to know specific neighborhoods and buying a place, budget around $1500/month give or take- would be nice.

I don't know if you checked out Highlands Ranch or not, but you'll find it similar to Castle Rock or Parker in my experience and the schools rate a bit better than Castle Rock as well. We checked out the Legacy at Highlands Ranch apartments when we were in town in April and were happy with what we saw. Unfortunately, I was laid off so we couldn't move, but the rent was reasonable for a 2bd(around 900/mo), the place had a pool, was very well taken care of, has a bus stop for the schools, and there is a decent park next door as well as a shopping center. Legacy goes to Northridge Elementary

Honestly though, for 1500, you can probably find a house to rent. In Parker, I imagine you can find a house for that amount in the Pinery Glen neighborhood which goes to a pair of good elementary schools. In Castle Rock, I'm not sure. In HR, I'm sure you'll be able to find something at that price as well.

You will see that there aren't too many apartments in those areas though, compared to the older areas north in Denver. Mostly housing developments

In Castle Rock, you won't have to deal with too many (if any) sketchy areas. The Castle Rock schools have a good reputation but I don't have any children so I can't really comment on that.

I looked on Craigslist and there are a ton of options for apartments, townhouses and single family homes for rent in your price range. Check out Echo Ridge apartments. They look very nice and have a great view of the mountains!!

Why Castle Rock or Parker? What about schools, commute, worship, hobbies?

I just read a book Reloville - about the repeated relocation of the families in American suburbs. Parker, Castle Rock & Highlands Ranch are all communities on the popular list.
