Default SE Colorado Question

I'm going to be driving from Oklahoma along US 287 through Lamar and on to Limon to join up with I-70 tomorrow. I was just wondering what the speed limit is along that route and if there are any speed traps to be aware of besides just the normal small towns.

It's been a long time since I've been through there but as far as i remember it is 65. Done that trip all the way to Wichita Falls a few times, never noticed speed traps. There IS a fair amount of truck traffic on there, though. There wasn't any port of entries for the trucks to stop at in the southern part of Colorado, Oklahoma, OR Texas until I got to Amarillo, as they were running wide open. The roads were in good shape, though. Hopefully one of the posters who live in the SE portion of the state can give you some current info!
