Maybe Indian Hills?? = a lot like Kittredge, but much closer to 285. Straight shot into southwest denver.

In order of closeness to Denver - Genessee, Evergreen, Kittredge. I am personally picking Evergreen mainly because it is conviently located between Denver and SkiLoveland.

We looked at a home in Susent Ridge. Could you tell me if there are lots of kids playing around the neighborhood? It looks like there are kids, but we came when it was cold and they must have been inside. Also, it does seem like there are lots of house for sale in that area. Is that a high churn area?

Default Commute from Evergreen to Englewood?

My husband would be working in Evergreen. We had been looking at Cherry Hills Village, which I know is close to Englewood, and Castle Rock, which is further out. However, I am falling in love with the idea of Evergreen-I love the views and the trees and it seems different than most other "suburbs". So, looking at the map, I see that it doesn't look that much different than from say Castle Rock to Englewood, and yet I like Evergreen's "look" moreso than what I am seeing of CR. Does anyone know what the commute to Englwwood would be? Thanks

It's actually not a bad commute to Englewood via 285 (285 turns into Hampden Ave).

Thank you. When you say "not bad", what do you mean? How many minutes approx? Also are there ice hockey teams for 11/12 yr olds in Evergreen that anyone knows of? I have two sons who play "ice" hockey (we are in Canada and all hockey is "ice" hockey to us) But I am especially concerned with the commute at this point....
